I don't have the largest hands but the bearing bennifits are not felt because the straps themselves rub against my hands, defeating the purpose.

When it comes to actual use, depending on the movement, the strap can rub against your hand or fingers, which isn’t very pleasant. On the other hand, the handle does allow rotational movements more easily.
Compared to cheap plastic handles covered with rubberized material, it’s night and day. But compared to full‑metal D‑shaped handles, I think I still prefer the latter, mainly because there’s no friction on the hand during use.
Overall, it’s still a very good product. It’s a nice addition to my home gym, and I’m satisfied with it.

Well constructed, mild knurling, bearings dont do much

I have a bunch of Bells of Steel products, and love how much value they try to force into their products. At times they leave a few rough edges to meet a price point, and these D rings are an example. First off, the construction was great, these absolutely feel more solid than most alphabet soup amazon D handles do. The stitching is great and the D loop is nice and heavy, I feel like these things will take a beating. That said they are also $10 or $20 more than most others. The knurling is clean, but a bit passive for my tastes so I knocked off one star. I knocked off a second star because the bearings do not do much here. Really your paying extra for the bearings, but they are just running on the nylon strap, there is not solid core for them to rotate on. In practice these rotate mostly the same as other D handles without bearings. Granted all the other bearing D handles on the market are 2 to 5 times the price of these, but the ones I have used all rotated like a friction free fever dream. I wanted to love these D handles, and they should last a long time, but I just cant. If I'm paying an extra $15 for premium rotation, I'd like them to spin freely.
