1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Terrible product. There are many issues:

The touchscreen is very temperamental. Sometimes responds and sometimes doesn't.
The colours on the monitor aren’t accurate.
The connection point feels a bit loose.
    Overall quality feels cheap.
It doesn’t even show whether I am recording or not. Very unusual for the price.
Then, if you want to return it, you have to pay for it.

This is a great monitor. Very light and it provides all the tools to ensure proper exposure. In addition, you can add a SD card with LUTS. You can monitor in native, Rec709, PQ, and LUT. It’s very very light and it’s battery efficient.. I really mean it. It has a regular size HDMI input but it doesn’t have an Out HDMI. Hope you enjoy it if you buy it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight, Bright Monitor

Atomos monitors are legendary for their design and performance among professional videographers and they also happen to be more pricey. This Shinobi GO is the entry level model in the Shinobi line even though it packs in features similar to it's more expensive cousins. The 1500 nit brightness allows the monitor to be viewed even in bright sunlight without a hood (Good since one is not supplied) and since I shoot in sunny Florida conditions this is a plus. It's light weight is also a plus when part of a rig. The GO has all the exposure assistant features you need and are easy to access via the touch screen. I particularly like that it includes wave forms and vectorscope. I use a dummy battery plugged into a V mount battery to power the monitor to keep weight down but it can also be powered with USB-V power delivery.
I wish it had more capacity for Luts but it is limited to eight. I had a difficult time loading Luts into the monitor as it requires the SD card to be specially formatted. Had to google this info after repeated failures to load Luts.
I do find that the monitor heats up quickly but it doesn't seem to affect the monitor function.
I've had no problem with the performance of this monitor and it is especially helpful in monitoring Lut looks when shooting in Log profile. Although the quality is there, I feel it's a bit overpriced for the features you get. There are monitors of this same size with better brightness and more features for a lot less but I think the Atomos reputation
will make the higher price worth it in the long run. At least that's the hope

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected at all...

Does not do what I needed to do for some reason. I planned on using it atop my camera as a reference monitor while streaming and recording videos. However, it will not accept any input that is not direct from a camera, so using the output on my capture card to signal the monitor result in the monitor saying "No Signal". I tried with a dozen other cables and monitors I have and the output coming from my Elgato 4K X works on all devices except this one. Unfortunately, I have to return it now, what a bizarre limitation.
