- Reviewed in Canada on April 8, 2025Verified PurchaseAs a guy with big hands who works outdoors in a cold climate I really like these gloves. They're lined for warmth, waterproof, and fit a 3XL hand. They cost a few bucks more than many of the cheaper gloves, but in my opinion they're totally worth the price. I would buy these gloves again.

- Reviewed in Canada on November 6, 2022Verified PurchaseA must have for working outside in cold winters. This is my second pair now and my hands have never been cold. I work outside as a carpenter and used to go through a lot of gloves every winter. These are pricey but it’s a one and done purchase instead of buying 3 or 4 pairs of gloves throughout the winter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the BEST
Verified PurchaseI spent a lot of money trying out so called water proof gloves, some were £70 a pair. I boiled it down after about three years to these. Waterproof, warm and hard waring. 10/10. Last forever aswell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Ice Climbing. Great dexterity & extremely waterproof!!!
Verified PurchaseAmazing product! Showa gloves are perfect for ice climbing and mountaineering. They are extremely waterproof but breathable at the same time. The fleece lining is comfortable and keeps your hands warm but not too warm. The gloves also include a textured grip which is an extra plus to great dexterity the gloves already have.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful
Verified Purchaseice climbed up to grade 4+. super warm, super grippy and very comfortable. no ice up when very wet conditions. very waterproof and breathable (how da do dat?). mild wear spots due to friction when rappelling ... maybe best to change to a leather unit for rappelling?... i placed a spot of shoe goo on these sites between climbs. these spots never wore through full thickness and repairs did not influence grippiness and other features. Definitely need a gauntlet to be sewed on when in snow. I use older Patagonia boxer shorts, using the waist band as the "upper" elastic cuff. 1 pair of boxers per pair of glove. best bargain in climbing gloves ever. why aren't the big players making gloves from this fabric is anyone's guess.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm and waterproof
Verified PurchaseThese work perfect when changing farm animal water in the winter. Even when it below 0 my hands stay warm for about 20 minutes, long enough to break water off trough surface and haul a few buckets. Hands stay warm all day when temp in teens and twenties.
I have tried similar gloves but keep coming back to repurchase these. I have needed a new pair each winter because I use them every day and the water proof coating gets a hole in it from wire fence or something else sharp.
