    I have received the strap but not yet installed it. The leather is strong and substantial, and the elastic loop looks like it will work well. I am not sure whether my cane has a detachable tip (in order to slide the loop up to the top,)but there is also a ring I can use. I am happy with the purchase -especially because the leather is much better grommeted than just a crimped-on attachment.

    Well crafted leather cane strap, very comfortable and looks and fits Asterom canes perfectly.
    Very stylish and classy, keeps the cane from falling. I purchased 2 of them, one for each cane I
    ordered. Only thing I might change on the strap is the length 8 inches is slightly too long for
    my preference. I feel like maybe 5 or 6 inches might have been the right size loop for my needs
    on the wrist. Other than that, if it is a problem with the length, the elastic strap on the cane can
    be adjusted up or down the shaft to better accommodate. Other than that, I am happy to support
    small business in the Ukraine and Asterom products, the level of of excellence in craftsmanship
    and attention to detail cannot be compared and is rare to find these days. Rest assured, one can shop with confidence in this company's products, they are second-to-none.
