- Reviewed in Canada on June 4, 2025Verified PurchaseThese do trap wasps! Its disgusting to empty so we end up just tossing them when they are full!
The spot you hang them does make a difference- For whatever reason sunny spots seem to trap more wasps than shady...
Also they only seem to work when you hang them. I have placed them on top bbq or tables and nothing goes inside them if they aren't hanging...
- Reviewed in Canada on May 18, 2025Verified PurchaseWe have used these before around the campsite and on the patio. Wasps certainly are attracted to it. Bought few more as they tend to fill fast.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 7, 2025Verified PurchaseHaven't used yet. Last year I had to put out ugly bowls of wasp killer solution so at least these look pleasing to the eye if the wasps get really bad this year as they did last year.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 26, 2025Verified PurchaseThese wasp catchers are wonderful. Just put some grape jelly in them and look out!
- Reviewed in Canada on May 14, 2025Verified PurchaseI live on half acre property and my yard has a lot of flowers and trees. And since I got this product it has caught a lot of bees I highly recommend it. Great product!!
- Reviewed in Canada on May 26, 2025Verified Purchasein one week the traps were full wasps. they work.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 5, 2025Verified PurchaseThe manufacturer could easily and cheaply make this product much better. You need to have some additional supplies and time to make is work. Would be far better if it was also larger.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 21, 2025Verified PurchaseDefinitely attracts and traps bees and wasps.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well after a couple of days left alone
Verified PurchaseBought these a couple of weeks ago as the weather was still warm (late autumn) and there were still quite a few European wasps hanging around.
Found the traps to be of study construction. There were also instructions on how to make a wasp bait, as only the plastic traps are supplied. Personally I found the bait recipe somewhat lacking, so just made my own attractant which consisted of a little fruity white wine and pineapple juice.
Fill the trap to just under level of lower entry hole so wasps have to fully enter trap. Then hang the trap in an area that gets decent sunshine (to warm the liquid up and get the scent out there). You won't really see anything until a full day after.
In the three weeks I've had mine going, I've got about 10 European wasps a week (including a Queen looking for a new nest site!) Of course now as Winter approaches, there are less and less around but still going to leave it out until Winter officially hits. On a side note, I also recharge the wine/juice bait every week.
