For whatever reason, the folks who owned our house before us never completed painting the interior of the little closed-in "cove" where our washer and dryer are stashed. It's closed by louvred doors when not in use so it remains our little secret, but I've vowed to remedy the situation at some point. That started to happen when I found this generous roll of peel-and-stick wallpaper in a compatible color. It's perfect and comes at a good price; while we haven't actually hung anything yet, we did cut about an inch strip to make sure it will adhere properly to the plaster walls, which have been painted with primer only. And it's fine. I don't advise trying to cut and stick all by yourself, though; in fact, at our age, my husband and I expect to call in the troops (a.k.a. our grown children) to do the bulk of the heavy work. But it's going to look great.
