    i got these because my almost 2 year old daughter is about to have her own room and i didn’t want her to get into any of the outlets especially with some things plugged in. i didn’t want to get regular outlet covers because she’s extremely smart and would figure out a way to get them off. the quality seems pretty durable so far. i also love that it has a key to open it so she isn’t able to open it herself. the only issue i have is with how small the key is. it’s definitely something that you could lose easily however, if you were to lose it you could honestly just get a paperclip and open it that way. other than that i absolutely love this product and highly recommend it if your child is anything like mine lol. super safe and convenient!

    So, I got this out of petty spite because I have a mini fridge in my office (with permission). I went on vacation and left it on (with permission) but when I returned, someone had unplugged the fridge leaving everything in it to rot. It smelled so bad that I couldn't even stomach trying to clean it and get rid of the smell (I had some stuff frozen that had onions and eggs in it. Spoiled eggs and onions sitting in a hot, enclosed space for a month is a lethal combo. Multiple coworkers almost threw up trying to help me get it out of the building). Also, stuff in my office constantly gets unplugged for no reason.

    So anyways, I bought a new mini fridge and there is no way I was letting that happen again. So I bought this, installed it over the power outlet my fridge plugs into, then wrote in sharpie across the top "DO NOT UNPLUG" and then locked it and now I have no more issues with important stuff being unplugged. So I recommend this for kids or when you are dealing with petty office BS!

    (P.S. no, I don't know who unplugged my fridge, but if I find out....)
