    You do not have to add wire if you install the wiring harness first. It takes about an hour to complete. Yes, it was easy, but after 11 months on a four-hour trip, they stopped working. Curt Electrical Wire Connector 56474. Curt Warranty is 12 months. I was lucky that it's still under warranty. I hope to receive a new one soon.
