These packs stay frozen longer than some high end gel type packs. After some testing with various ice packs in a high end hard cooler, these packs lasted the longest, brought down the temperature in the cooler faster and lower.
These do feel a bit flimsy when unfrozen but there have been no leaks after many uses. Time will tell how they wear but so far they have been excellent. Price is comparable to other high end ice packs but these just perform better.
