    I bought this to replace my real bamboo Shishi Odoshi for my pond. I wanted something which would last longer than bamboo in a wet environment. First off, this thing has the ugliest paint job I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t even resemble bamboo. I’m embarrassed to put it in my pond. We are going to try to repaint and seal it. Another gripe is the hardware. The through bolt is not stainless and it needs a lock nut.
