Ordered this November 10th, received it November 13th. Expiration date (not the Best Before Date, the actual Expiration Date) was November 30th. The manufacturer’s instructions say to not use these after the expiration date, and if storage conditions were not optimal then they expire even sooner. Returned them for a refund. The next ones I buy will be at a retail store where I can look at the date expiration date before buying.

Update: December 13. I could not find any local stores with this so I ordered again. This package was manufactured 21 months ago and expires in three months. It would be impossible to use 50 strips in 90 days. Why do they keep shipping product that is almost expired?

These come with a booklet and its a really nice 24 page book which is a complete guide to pool and hot tub chemicals. It explaines in great detail (but easy to understand) the purpose of each chemical and how rhey each work together, why and how to keep them at the proper levels and there are many charts for the calculations so you don’t have to do the math. This is a book that the pool & hot tub sale people should provide when you buy a pool or hot tub but if they did you wouldn’t be so dependant on them for chemical help and sales...thank you AquaChek!

The one thing I like a lot about this product is that the legend to compare test results is protected in a clear plastic which the strips slide beside. This allows for everything to always be together at all times.

The strips themselves are about as accurate as any other test strip, which is directional at best but enough to get the job done for those that arnt yet ready to purchase a liquid test kit, or who don't want the hassle. I purchased this for the photo scanning capability though, which as others have pointed out - is a bit of hit or miss. Two tests conducted back to back will often show very different results after the same time interval of 15 seconds, which does not build confidence in the accuracy of product. Best I can figure, the ambient lighting conditions and specifics of your phones camera seem to matter. I am using a flagship Samsung S22 ultra but still struggle to get consistant and accurate results.
