    Bought this refurbished and there are occasional issues with the phone freezing mid text (the screen just locks up and is unresponsive) and the battery seems to drain quicker than one would expect. The screen lock issue is easy to fix in the moment (hard restart does the trick). Overall, for the price, this was a reasonably refurbished phone.

    Was nervous about buying a renewed iPhone online. My refurbished iPhone SE cost $215 (all in) and arrived earlier than expected. It was in better condition than anticipated! The delivery driver left the package on my front step which worried me because it was -45°C and it was out there for three hours. Worried about the battery but a week into using and it is working fine. A USB plug was included in the package.     Been using the phones for 10 months then got a notice "non genuine apple battery detected" and the phone shut down. Clearly the company refurbished the phone and used a non-Apple battery and now the apple software has bricked the phone. I tried to take the phone to an Apple store, fully intending to buy a new apple battery but they will not touch the one in the phone because whoever refurbished it took the battery "tabs" off (the tabs that let you easily remove the battery). Their policy is to not pry the battery out so after 2 hours at the Apple store, I left with no results. Called Apple and they confirmed that there is nothing they can do with non-apple parts and pieces (like the tabs and screws) missing. The seller told me to talk to 鶹 fullfillment and they won't do anything. So now I'm stuck with a phone that didn't even last a year and having to buy a new phone. Such a waste and I had high hopes on this refurbished phone with the reviews.
