- Reviewed in Canada on October 1, 2024Verified PurchaseThe Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) is a game-changer for creatives and note-takers. It’s super responsive, precise, and feels natural, like using a real pencil. The double-tap feature is handy for switching tools, and it magnetically attaches to the iPad for easy charging and storage.
If you’re into drawing, sketching, or just like to handwrite notes, this is a must-have accessory. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you use your iPad for creative work or productivity. Plus, it looks sleek and integrates seamlessly with the iPad Pro and Air.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 9, 2025Verified PurchaseI've only used it a few times so far but it has worked flawlessly with my iPad even through the waterproof case. My case has the slot for this pen and its automatically charged through the iPad.... NICE!
- Reviewed in Canada on April 28, 2023Verified PurchaseThe Apple Pencil is a truly remarkable device that has completely revolutionized the way we interact with our iPads., it is an exceptional tool for artists, designers, and anyone who wants to take their creativity to the next level.
One of the key features of the Apple Pencil is its precision and sensitivity. The device is incredibly responsive, making it easy to create detailed sketches, illustrations, and designs. The pressure sensitivity of the Apple Pencil is also exceptional, allowing users to vary the thickness and darkness of their strokes depending on the amount of pressure applied.
Another great feature of the Apple Pencil is its ergonomic design. The device is comfortable to hold and provides a natural writing and drawing experience that is similar to using a traditional pen or pencil. Additionally, the device is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to use for extended periods without causing fatigue or discomfort.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Apple Pencil to anyone who is looking to take their creativity to the next level. With its precision, sensitivity, and ergonomic design, it is truly a game-changer in the world of digital art and design. While it may be a bit pricey, the investment is definitely worth it for anyone who is serious about their craft.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 8, 2024Verified PurchaseI haven't been so happy with an apple accessory in a long time. I switched over from a Samsung s8 to an iPad Air 4th generation. Yes, the iPad is not an old display and whatever else, but I'm telling you, the Apple Pencil with Goodnotes 6, Onenote and every other app that you'd use for Uni courses and education make it all worth it, it's just that much better. The palm rejection alone is worth the switch, I lost count of the number of times I've ruined a powerpoint presentation or a one note page because the palm rejection that just that awful on a Samsung ecosystem.
TL;DR - do your self a favour and switch over from Samsung to an apple tablet with a Pencil, it's just 2000% better.

- Reviewed in Canada on February 23, 2025Verified PurchaseWhat do I like about it?
- Charges very quickly on my iPad Air 5. If it dies, it usually takes around 20 minutes to get back to full
- Magnetically attaches and charges on your iPad. If you are someone that is prone to losing small devices like this (like me), then this feature is perfect considering that it also is acting as a charger while it's attached, so, it's always ready to go
- As a digital artist, the pressure sensitivity on this is much better than my Huion and XP-Pen tablet styluses. Very responsive while drawing in the Procreate app
- The size and feel is similar to a real pencil or pen, which feels very natural in the hand
- Tips last pretty long compared to other styluses. The Apple replacement tips are expensive but you can buy third party ones for much cheaper that perform the same
What do I think could be improved?
- My biggest issue is the major battery drain that this causes to my iPad while it's charging magnetically even after at a full charge. Since the Apple pencil charges on my iPad while attached, even after it has reached 100%, it will not stop charging and will drain my iPad below 50% from max charge after only a few days. Because of this, I often keep them apart to prevent it from draining my iPad too much. Just keep this in mind
- The lack of Find My integration is also slightly annoying. I wish this had Airtag-like capabilities, but I understand that this was released before Airtags existed. It would be nice because most other Apple accessories have Find My. Since the pencil is so small it would be helpful just in case of it being lost
Would I recommend this to you?
Yes, totally! If you have an iPad and do digital art or take lots of notes, you will not regret this purchase
4.0 out of 5 starsWhat do I like about it?2 year 8 month update: Amazing product with one big flaw - From a digital artist's perspective
