    If you have the time to inspect each one to make sure it is properly made the you can find one that works. On my first go, I selected a needle and only after a lot of binding threads and missed stiches did I see that the hole in the needle was twisted off to the right. I switch it out with another and it worked.

    Personally, I don't my sewing experience to be a lottery. I just want my needle to work. However if you ok with doing your own QA, then you can get a good number of needles for the price, and many do work.
