The Antennas Direct DAX4 amplifier boosts the TV signal from your indoor or outdoor TV antenna or CATV system and distributes that signal to as many as 4 TVs. Distributing signal to multiple TVs and using 50 ft. or more of coaxial cable will result in a certain amount of signal loss. The 4-output distribution amplifier helps overcome these signal challenges by strengthening the signal coming in from the TV antenna’s coaxial cable for clear, consistent picture quality and reception. Designed for both home and professional use, our DAX4 is designed to be used in homes and businesses in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Precision machine-sealed zinc diecast housing protects against dust and water droplets and provides shielding from electrostatic discharge, with excellent surge protection on all ports. Recommended for indoor use but can be used outdoors with 75 Ohm F-termination caps and coaxial cables that have watertight F-connectors and weather boots. If installing outdoors, you will need a power inserter (not included) to allow the included power adapter to share the coaxial cable connected to the designated output shown on the Distribution Amplifier.     This little RF amp works a heck of a lot better than the cheap one that came with the antenna. We live in the country that Cable forgot so having an antenna for local stations was a must. With this new amp, I amp getting much stronger signals to my TV's. Nextgen gives a much better picture for broadcast TV. For best performance, add an LTE 5G filter to the amp's input. Phillips makes one for only $10. Very pleased.
