Megan Fallows plays her role so good that no other actress could have possibly played ANNE with an E as good as she did. I also ordered the other two DVDs fallow up. There's no point ordering this series without ordering all of them; ending with ANNE OF GREEN GABLEs the continuing story.
    THIS CANADIAN production is in so many languages all over the world that it makes me even prouder to say, "I'm PROUD TO BE CANADIAN!"

    A wonderful story. The actors who were chosen to portray Mirella and Mathew Cuthbert, and Anne Shirley did a superb job. I don't believe that anybody else can show the deep range of emotions and even the body language that these actors portray: for example, who can replicate the body language of Colleen Dewhurst as she marched, ramrod-straight back, up the stairs to Anne's room on numerous occasions, or her retorts and expressions to Anne or Rachel's comments.
    And, who didn't fall in love with those big, kind, blue eyes of the very shy Mathew Cuthbert.
    I would recommend this DVD to everybody.
