  • We do not recommend using Ann Clark Espresso powder to make coffee or espresso. The finely-ground espresso powder is not formulated for drinking, and will result in a less flavorful brew than instant espresso or ground espresso made for drinking.

  • No, not if used properly. When adding espresso powder to chocolate batter, only add a teaspoon or two. The nutty, bold flavors of the espresso powder will intensify the rich chocolate flavor without adding any coffee notes.
