Been using this device with Zoom and Teams for a couple of weeks. Sound quality of speaker is very good for speaker-phone, probably not what you'd want to use for optimum music playback though.

There's minor quirk when using with Teams; the built-in mute button is not linked to the Teams' mute function. Either method works. Not a problem for me, but it could cause confusion if not aware of it.

Some reviews mention poor mic quality - but I have no complaints about that. There are a total of 6 mics around the perimeter, and a corresponding blue LED indicates which mic is picking up the loudest voice. I've asked for opinions of the sound quality from meeting participants, and all have indicated that I sound clear and fine.

Bluetooth pairs easily with both my laptop and android phone, although I've had to disconnect from one before I could use with the other. Not sure where the limiting factor is with that.

Feels very solid, compact and well made. Comes with padded travel case. The $40 coupon was a nice motivator. I'd buy it again.

Have used it non stop for 7 months now, in my home office, on the road, on vacation. Sound quality and Mic pickup both very good for hands free phone calls and MS Teams meetings.
Touch controls on the speakerphone are very handy, especially the mute. Allows for muting and unmuting, even if the Teams call is not visible on the screen.
Only frustrating thing which I do not believe Anker has much control of, is using the device as a Teams speakerphone and a speaker for my phone. You can do it, but sometimes teams will refuse to automatically connect after a phone call. Unplugging the USB connection and plugging it back in is a quick workaround.

Purchased this S3 unit as I'm on Teams meetings all day long and wearing headphones or earbuds for long hours was tiring and headache inducing.

Even before I used the S3 in a meeting, I was pleasantly surprised that the device can be connected via USB to a computer and it's ready to work without requiring any driver installation. Really plug and play. This is a big deal as I'm using the device on a company provided laptop where I can't install anything that's not company/security approved.

Sound quality is perfect for the scope of the product: meetings. I personally can't tell the difference in meetings sound quality over audiophile headphones or this Anker S3 device. I've been told that my voice can be heard crystal clear.

I like the led light patterns. It's unmistakable when the unit is on mute or not. The huge red led circle around the control panel makes it obvious when the unit is muted.

Definitely 5 stars!

I was very excited to test the microphone quality on the unit when it arrived. However, it left me rather disappointed when the people (I tested on four different people) on the recieving end said I sounded quiet, muffled and inconsistent in volume. I tested via bluetooth on my phone and computer and was told I was quiet despite being a foot away from the unit at max volume and speaking louder than I normally would in a meeting. I have to say the unit is very modern, sturdy and user friendly. I like all the features and the speaker is amazing. I can hear the person on the other end clearly (no distortion) and when I tested it playing music it was good too. It's a good speaker, but the microphone is rather lacking. This is something that Anker can improve on. Unfortunately I returned the unit as my primary purchase of the unit was for the microphone feature to use in my zoom meetings.

I have had the odd issue in MS Teams when the mic doesn't appear to work but that's over a VPN connection so I'm not sure if this could occasionally cause an issue and, in any case, a quick restart usually resolves this.
