Directions

Making the Switch to Alpo Cookout Classics: Changes in your pet's diet should be made gradually to allow your pet to become accustomed to a new food. When switching your dog to Alpo Cookout Classics from another dog food, please allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Alpo Cookout Classics and less of the previous food to your pet's dish each day until the changeover is complete. Feeding Instructions: Alpo Cookout Classics is a complete meal with no need to add anything for flavour or nutrition. The chart (please refer to the image carousel at the top of the page) shows general feeding recommendations for adult maintenance, but remember that dogs are individuals and actual amounts may vary with age and activity. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Water Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. Store in a cool, dry place.

    I used to purchase the Natures Balance but the one my dogs liked I could no longer get in the big bag. So I swapped to Alpo Cookout Classic. Price is great. I would still be ordering this for my dogs except they developed an allergy to it. I do not know if the company changed something in it but my German Shepherd and Italian Greyhound developed hives and hot-spots at the exact same time. Nothing else in their diet or surroundings have changed.
