Tried to remove bleed screw on a 2003 vw jetta rear caliper, top treads came out with the bleeder. This kit saved me buying another caliper. You will need a 1/8 NPT tap . I bought a drill and tap kit but didnt need the drill for the caliper, as the size of the bleeder was big enough I didnt need to drill, just run the tap down to the bottom. " don't" break off the tap! I used red locktite on the inserts threads, dont get it on the bleeder screw. The bleeder screw is kinda tiny is the only thing but I used never seize on the bleeder threads so it shouldnt seize in and break off a few years down the road. Also want to put a rubber cap on the small bleeder screw head to keep water and debris out , the VW one is a bit too big. I think the old MK 3 wheel cyl rear bleeder screw cap might fit as they are smaller.
