The following may react with ALLEGRA 24 HR: Antacids that contain aluminum or magnesium hydroxide, as they may alter the effectiveness of ALLEGRA 24 HR. Do not take within 2 hours of taking an antacid. Do not take with fruit juices. Like all medicines, ALLEGRA 24 HR can cause unwanted effects. Common side effects that may occur include headache, nausea, sleepiness, fatigue, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, lightheadedness, dry eye and sleeplessness.

Ingredients

Medicinal Ingredients: Fexofenadine hydrochloride 120 mg. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, iron oxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, pregelatinized starch, titanium dioxide.

Directions

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take 1 tablet (120 mg) once daily with a glass (250 ml) of water. Do not use for a long period of time unless advised by a doctor.

Great product
I use Allegra as my preferred antihistamine because one of the main symptoms I experience is a very itchy palate, and Allegra is the only one that specifically lists this as a symptom it addresses (as far as I am aware). It works very well for me, and I don't experience any side effects. I really like that it is a non-drowsy second generation antihistamine as well, because first generations sometimes make me so drowsy that I can barely get out for bed for an entire day. Definitely recommend this antihistamine.

    For those of you who don't know, allergy medicines don't just vary by brand, they vary by ingredient - just like pain medications (ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen). I've had chronic sinusitis the past few years, and am still trying to determine the root cause and a solution. Part of that process has been trying different allergy brands and ingredients. I had tried two others before this one, and unfortunately the outcome is the same here - sinuses and ears are still full/inflamed, and relief is but a pipe dream.

    Having said all that, I know the price of allergy medicines, and I know this is a great deal. I also have a nephew and many other friends/family who suffer from allergies, and will keep these on hand for their visits (we have cats, and I've been asked for an allergy pill many, MANY times).

    So while this didn't necessarily work for me, it does work for many others and is a great price in the value pack. Would recommend.

    This product arrived as two boxes of blister packs. One had 30 capsules, the other has 72, for a total of 102 tablets. For allergy sufferers, this will last a few months. For occasional allergy sufferers, like me, they'll last much longer. Each tablet is meant to last 24 hours.

    I prefer to use recognized brand names when it comes to medications of any kind. Allegra is a well-known, trusted brand, so I feel safe using it. Obviously, this should be checked with a doctor to make sure there are no contra-indications with any other meds one might be taking. I like that they're non-drowsy, too.

    I'm happy with this product and will be putting it to good use this spring as the growing season gets rolling.

    This worked fairly well for me but not as good as my preferred tablets. The value is definitely there, you get almost enough to cover you for the spring and summer pollen season. It's effects came in pretty quick too, about 15 minutes and lasts almost the full 24 hours for me. I like that they're individually packaged so they're travel friendly.
