    Firstly, for more info about this model please visit the Haute42 discord, they got all the answers and know-how to this model.

    Pros:

    Plug and play works on PC.
    The hitbox was easily dis-assembled for me to install my decal under the plexiglass plate.
    The switches/buttons have a good feeling to them.
    Cheap, holds really well for the price.

    Cons:
    I got this for tekken 8, and 16 felt like too many buttons, 13 is probably better for that kind of game.
    Sometimes I input once and it inputs three times. Not sure if this is a trait of the hitbox or a defect.

    Upgrading the firmware is unclear (even with instructions), it's better to visit the haute42 discord and check for the latest firmware and follow instructions through past comments.

    Grey-Area:
    Very Small, good for travel. Might be too small, though.

    This is great. I was expecting something feeling cheap and would break easily with this being a cheaper option. But no, it is solid, with a resin plate adding a nice feeling of weight.
    The buttons work great, and after a bit of heavy use I haven't had the need to replace any of the switches yet. It was also very easy to configure for PS4 (Just use their Discord instructions).
    I did find the USB C cable that comes with it has a very tight fit into the port, but that's not by any means an issue.

    The build quality of this product is super high.

    However, I have a problem with it in that I keep getting ghost inputs, where I press one button, but the game detected two button presses. I'm not sure if my unit was buggy/glitching or if the buttons are too sensitive and my finger is just glancing over the other button.

    Either way, I returned this and will stick to using keyboard

    El producto funciona más o menos a la perfección, pero dependen de poder encontrar los archivos necesarios para habilitarlo, especialmente si lo usan para PS4 o PS5, con o sin el dongle , los archivos NO SON COMPARTIDOS POR HAUTE , y los muy hábiles en su sitio web te dan el soporte de decirte “nosotros no proveemos por archivos necesarios” no te dicen cómo o en donde encontrarlos tampoco (muy útiles lo se ) en fin, tarde más de 1 hora configurándolo y tarde especialmente en encontrar los archivos , las certificaciones para habilitar el modo ps4 , las encontré en una página pública , así que apresúrense a descargarlos, pues son archivos que legalmente no deberían ser compartidos en sitios públicos, lo que quiere decir que en cualquier momento los derribarán de la red, el control funciona a la perfección, lo uso para mi ps4, para jugar Tekken 8 conectado a mi ps5 remotamente, lo único que no me gustó es que no respeta los colores seleccionados personalizados, supongo solo funciona en PC, por todo lo demás funciona a la perfección, pero la configuración es un dolor de cabeza.

    Absolutely fantastic product, however if you need it to work for PS5 I would recommend getting the Brook PS5 dongle to plug into it, otherwise I had difficulty getting it to stop disconnecting. My only other complaint is that it is a little small for my hands, but thats more a personal choice than an issue with the device, I would prefer the buttons a little more seperated.

    Cuando el juego se convierte en una parte más profesionalizada y donde las diferencia entre una victoria y una derrota se mide en milisegundos, es donde necesitamos accesorios como este teclado de botones de juego, totalmente configurable y compatible con todas las plataformas.

    . El teclado nos ofrece un conjunto de botones totalmente mecánicos, con recorridos cortos y con una distribución clásica de máquinas arcade. Aunque es posible su uso para casi cualquier tipo de juego, al poder modificar y crear patrones de juego en su memoria y procesador interno. Con una plataforma de metacrilato transparente y un sistema de iluminación configurable RGB en su interior.

    . Disponemos de una pantalla informativa OLED activa en todo momento para informar del uso de cada botón por separado, configurar modos turbo o predefinidos en ellos, además de poder crear funciones específicas para cada botón y la respuesta que queramos con ellos.

    Se ha incluido un procesador de la familia raspberry para el control y optimización de todo el teclado por lo que la respuesta y configuración es PERFECTA y RAPIDA.

    . La conexión por puerto USB C duplicado permite colocar el cable en la posición más cómoda para nosotros, pero también garantiza una compatibilidad casi total con ordenadores, arcades y consolas, incluso las PS4 y PS5 para las que será necesario seguir algunos pasos previos para su funcionamiento correcto y que la consola no los bloquee como mando no reconocido.

    . El fabricante nos permite además configurar y guardar mediante web todas las configuraciones que tengamos para un uso más rápido y cómodo. Un gran esfuerzo y que lo coloca en una parte alta de este tipo de botoneras de juego semi profesionales.

    Un teclado de juego que nos ayudará a disfrutar de unas partidas en juego de lucha o similares a un nivel totalmente profesional. Pero que también nos ofrecen un uso y configuración TOTAL para cualquier tipo de juego donde necesitemos botones extras o configurar ciertas tareas de forma rápida y sencilla.

    La calidad de los botones es máxima, con posibilidad de sustituirlos de forma muy fácil y con una cubierta superior también configurable si así queremos.

    Y la velocidad de conexión en casi cualquier sistema en de pocos segundos, por lo que podremos empezar a utilizarlo de inmediato en casi cualquier juego o partida online.

    En consola PS5 tenemos que realizar algunos pasos extras para que el sistema no lo desconecte, pero se reducen en conectar adicionalmente un mando oficial a modo de pasarela de la botonera. Una pequeña complicación para disfrutar de un nuevo modo de juego con mejoras efectivas.

    In short, this is a must buy if you’re looking for a hitbox controller for an affordable price. If you want to play with the controller on your lap get the T16, if you want to play with the controller resting on a desk (like me) get the G16

    For context I own a $250 hitbox and a $150 snackbox micro lite and this company blows them away in terms of customization, accessibility and quality.

    Out the box this has 2 extra buttons mapped to L3 & R3 opposite the traditional hitbox jump button in the perfect spot where you can rest a thumb on either. In a game like Sf6 this is huge, because you can set these extra buttons to drive impact and throw. So you always have a finger resting on parry, drive impact and throw very comfortably. Take a look at some of the sf pros like tokido, kakeru and daigo all use modded hitbox controllers with extra buttons so they can do this.

    Neither the hitbox or snackbox include software that allows you to remap buttons and this does (if you want to change the configuration of the controller you have to physically open the controller and redo the pins yourself). Why does this matter? My biggest pet peeve is that by default these kinds of controller are set to X, Y , R1, L1 across the top and A, B, R2, L2 across the bottom. Its infuriating because it makes menu navigation in games backwards for no reason and your stuck with it. Except with this controller you can access the web configurator to remap buttons to whatever configuration you want.

    Stock the hitbox does not have leds, the snackbox does but to customize them you have to download the JF Connect app on your phone and pair to it via bluetooth. Honestly the app is pretty janky and the low rating in the app store reflects the quality. With this you can use the web configurator to set the leds.

    in terms of quality the G16 is extremely solid, the controller has a heft to it and the buttons sound nice and chonky when pressed, very satisfying.

    This is straight up the most bang for you buck hitbox style controller period. If you are interested in a hitbox controller i cannot recommend this one enough.
