    Je suis un grand amateur des films d'Alien (visionnés de multiples fois), et j'ai été déçu de ce nouvel épisode de la saga. Très peu original (scénario médiocre, aucun imprévu quand on connait les autres films) et les acteurs sont tout juste moyens. En fait c'est comme un remake du film original (Alien '1') mais franchement non réussi. Ridley Scott est un des producteurs: il ne doit pas être très fier du résultat... Les derniers films (Covenant et Prometheus) avaient au moins le mérite d'être originaux... Je m'attendais à beaucoup plus, en particulier les effets spéciaux quant aux aliens (bien ordinaires). Et l'alien de la fin du film (mi-homme, mi-alien) est franchement ridicule, avec ses mouvements saccadés de marionnette: on croirait un film de s/f des années 70)! Sans parler du nouvel 'androide' (pitoyable). La seule originalité c'est l'apparition dans le film du méchant Ash (Ian Holm), bizarrement renommé 'Rook' (allusion au 'Bishop' à venir je présume...). Ça ne vaut pas la peine selon moi d'acheter ce film en 4K (beaucoup trop cher), sauf peut-être si vous êtes collectionneur (comme moi) et que vous voulez avoir toute la franchise en 4K!

    This movie has a uniquely original story, yet pays homage to the first film. This movie follows the original story line not the reboot from a few years back. You don't need to back watch any film but it might be fun to watch the original Alien, and mabe the second Aliens first.
