I added the “Alfred WB2 Connect V2 WI-FI Bridge Home Automation Hub for DB1 & DB2 Series Locks” a day or two after installing the Alfred DB1-C-BL bluetooth deadbolt. Pairing the WB2 with WiFi was straightforward and worked on the first attempt. It has reconnected without issue after moving it and a power outage. By connecting the Bluetooth smart lock to this, it’s given me push notifications when the lock is opened manually, or with the name of the person if you’ve assigned separate codes. You can also open the app from anywhere and see if your door is locked or not, and lock or unlock it. Overall, I’m very happy with this product.

    I got this as I had gotten the DB2S lock and wanted to unlock the full capabilities of the device and have access to the app so I can customize passcodes easily alongside unlocking the ability to use google home and alexa to lock/unlock my garage door. Well, this device adds that extra functionality and is a much needed for a better user experience. Overall, definitely recommend getting this if you are getting a DB1 or DB2 lock.

    The device is easy to install and works with nearby locks. It allows unlocking and locking doors from anywhere with internet and power. It has decent build quality and is compactly designed to not tie up power outlets when installed on the bottom socket. To ensure the best performances from this device, be sure to install it in a location with the least amount of possible interference: away from refrigerators, freezers, metal, mirrors/glass, many LED lights (especially dimmable if not WIFI-friendly), etc.
