    It was a regular occurrence in the 80's for those of us who solved these competitively to disassemble our cube every week to lubricate with Vaseline. We'd also tweak the tension on each side center screw (after popping off center cap on each side) to get a cube as smooth running fast and smooth.

    No more. This cube is build like a rock and set to the perfect resistance. Arguably better than our best tweaked cubes back when we were kids. Definitely worth it.
