Customers like the durability, ease of setup, and deer prevention of the product. They mention it's a well-made piece of equipment and simple to connect. Some say it keeps wild animals away from cottages and discourages small animals like rabbits from digging under the front porch. However, some customers have reported that the pulse indicator light is difficult to see and weak in daylight. Opinions are mixed on the reliability.

The AgriOtter Electric Fence Enegizer is still in good condition but, it just stopped working after only three months. The item worked really well for the first three months and energized a 150 foot fence to keep our pig in then just stopped. There is no ability to contact the seller to discuss return or refund after the 30 day return window.
I would accept a refund or return as acceptable resolution but, this is not available.
Do not recommend purchasing unless you are ok with this item failing without warning after short use.

I use this fencer to power 1km of single strand electric fencing for horses and it works well. I mounted it indoors where I can plug it in. The ground/fence cables that came with the fencer are quite short so I had to supply my own. It was either that or building a protective box around the fencer as required in the fencer's manual. Love the clip that connects to the fence wire. It makes it easy to change back to my solar fencer in milder temperatures. The indicator light is weak in daylight but it is visible. Overall happy with the product.
Easy to install and straightforward to set up. Gives a good solid shock. The energizer stopped working after about a month of use. It turned out the adapter stopped working. It's peculiar to include an indoor grade adapter for an outdoor product.
Arrived on time and was as described but understand the reviews about not a bright light on the fencer if outside it would be very hard to see but not a problem as it is inside here. Good price for the fencer and so far works well
We use this as a dog pen enforcement and it's been working great. It only takes two or three shocks before. The dogs really don't want to go test the fence or dig underneath it. Very glad my dogs are safe. Good value for the money. Seems sturdy. Appears to be good quality. Very easy to install.
This thing was kept covered and protected from rain on day one. It worked very well for nearly 6 mo. then just quit working. Tested the unit directly at the unit and it simply isn't putting out any juice. Removed the back cover to check for a possibly blown fuse. No such thing on this cheesy junk. This is a cheap piece of crap and no, it is not made in the USA. Steer clear
5.0 out of 5 starsExactly what we needed to protect our furbabies

I have two standard poodles that continuously dug under or jumped over the 5' fence, nothing we did stopped them and they'd disappear for hours while we searched for them. We live in the country with coyotes, stray dogs/cats, and a bobcat, we're also about 2.5 miles from a main highway, so I needed to keep my furbabies safe. I finally, reluctantly, decided to put up an electric fence to protect them. The first day, we sat outside with them, after we easily and quickly installed these electric fence synthetic rubber gate handles, electric fence posts, upgraded electric fence polywire, and electric fence energizer, they tried yet again to get out of the yard. They got zapped, yelped, and haven't tried to get out of the yard in two months. FYI, Hubby and I both tried it first to be sure it wouldn't harm them, it was a jolt, but we all survived lol. I really didn't want to do this, but now I know they're safe and protected.
