    The painted steel is not too heavy to use, but definitely not flimsy. It’s going to last many years. Easy assembly with 4 extra clamps to make sure the neck remains perfectly strong. No chance of bending. I knew when buying that it would be much easier to buy a roller. But I have a small lawn and this takes up no space to store on the wall in the garage. A great buy.

    The spike aerator lawn tool is a bit of a pain to assemble and not easily disassembled for storage.
    We find the the spikes aren't really large enough to do much to aerate your lawn, but are great for loosening packed soil in a garden.
    The handle is comfortable enough to use.
    The plate without the spikes can also be used as a tamper.

    We had an incredible need to revitalize our lawn after a Texas drought, this tool did just the trick. While manual, it was much cheaper than the rest of the rolling options on the market and the price difference wasn't worth the level of effort that goes into putting this together and walking around the lawn and using it! Overall a 9/10 purchase. The only issue I had was with the height of the tool, I found it to work well for myself at 5 foot 5, however my 6 foot 4 husband had to bend over heavily to use it well.
