Used to take the backs off my watches regardless of their tightness. No more scraping the backs and no more trips to the jeweller. Popped the watch into the holder, used the side angled knife and the backs flipped off. Tweezers for the battery and presto chango. I have been replacing watch batteries for years using a staple remover that I had ground down to pop backs off. But my wife has a couple of watches that the staple remover would not work on, and those kept going to the jeweler for batteries. I finally had the brilliant idea of looking for proper tools for the job, found and bought this set. As soon as it arrived, it opened one watch that I could not open before. As soon as it opens the next one, it will have more than paid for itself. So I am happy.
The quality is not quite what a self-respecting jeweler would have, but it is better than I expected for the price, and fine for occasional home use.
