Easily adjust the Marcy SB-350 Utility Weight Bench by pulling the seat forward and locking it in to the serrated bench base.

The leg developer on the Marcy Utility bench adds to the bench’s versatility. Simply add Olympic or Standard Weight Plates (sold separately) to the leg developer to attain your lower body workout.

Straight forward to put together. Was worried about the sturdiness as it’s a tripod bench but having a ratchet set along with a monkey wrench will take you a long way in setting up the bench as it was designed. After a month of having it I would say it’s worth the purchase.

    For the very low price this bench is pretty good. I am a 6'2" tall and heavy guy and it if assembled properly, is sturdy and rock solid. I bought this to strengthen my hamstrings, gluts, quads and calves even through I walk 8-10km a day. The firmly padded cylinders are thick enough to properly pad shins, knees etc to prevent damage and there is a thick rubber stopper that protect the unit when the legs release the moving section. I really like the fact the seat base and back are adjustable to give you a comfortable and secure position when doing reps.

Having the single support at the front means it has a tendcy to wobble at times but you kinda know when it might be tilting and is easy to correct.     I have had this bench for almost two years, so I thought it was time for a review. After almost two years, with multiple users using it every day, this bench still looks and functions like it's brand new. Putting it together was relatively easy thanks to my husbands ratchet set. If you use the included allen wrench, it may be a little more difficult/time consuming. The bench looks like it sits a little lower to the ground than some others, so I was a little concerned that my feet would be dragging the floor while doing extensions on the leg developer, but that has not been an issue for me (5'8) or my husband (5'11). The bench itself is very sturdy and easy to use. This has been a great purchase at a great price point and an excellent addition to our gym.
