My skin is so sensitive that any time I use a sticky bandage, the irritation from the sticky part lasts longer than whatever injury I was covering with the bandage. It's a huge problem. It is even worse in spots that have hair on them, even a little bit. So every time I cut myself, I have to choose between leaving the cut open to the elements or put a bandage on it and then deal with the irritation for the next week.

We first saw them at the vet - obviously the furry members of the family can't have regular bandages, so they always get these self-adhesive ones. Then we started getting them for ourselves, and it's really changed how we deal with household injuries. Now, all we have to do is apply a non-stick bandage to the wound, and then wrap these self-adhesive ones on top.
The adhesiveness is quite strong, and you have to be careful: if they accidentally fold in on themselves, they get stuck together and are nearly impossible to straighten out again. But as long as you are careful and go slow, there is nothing better than these self-adhesive bandages.
