With the drill attachment enabled, this thing is a BEAST! AND... keeping the RPM slower (below 500 revs per minute) was brilliant and just made it go around bends and be more controllable and efficient. Worth every penny.

    Quick Review:
    So this can come in quite handy, and really every homeowner should have something like this.
    The 50 foot reach should be long enough to clear most blockages.
    It seems well built and should last some time.
    Do note that this is not recommended for porcelain which honestly limits its uses.
    Most blockages I encounter are toilet blockages...well almost eyery toilet is porcelain, right?
    Still a handy tool though.

La prima cosa che ho notato ¨¨ stata la robustezza del prodotto: realizzato in acciaio resistente, trasmette subito un'impressione di qualit¨¤ e durevolezza.
    Ho apprezzato particolarmente la versatilit¨¤ d'uso. La possibilit¨¤ di utilizzarlo sia manualmente con la manopola che collegandolo a un trapano elettrico lo rende adatto a diverse esigenze. Personalmente, ho optato per l'uso manuale la prima volta per prendere confidenza con lo strumento, ma devo ammettere che l'opzione con il trapano rende il lavoro molto pi¨´ rapido ed efficace.
    La lunghezza di 15 metri del cavo si ¨¨ rivelata pi¨´ che sufficiente per raggiungere anche i punti pi¨´ ostici degli scarichi di casa. L'ho testato sia nel lavandino della cucina che nello scarico della doccia, ottenendo risultati sorprendenti in entrambi i casi. In pochi minuti sono riuscito a eliminare ostruzioni che persistevano da tempo, risparmiando cos¨¬ la spesa di un idraulico.
    Un dettaglio che ho trovato molto pratico ¨¨ la custodia inclusa. Permette di riporre lo strumento in modo ordinato, occupando poco spazio e mantenendolo pulito tra un utilizzo e l'altro. Anche i guanti in dotazione sono stati un'aggiunta gradita, proteggendo le mani durante l'operazione.
    L'unico aspetto su cui bisogna fare attenzione ¨¨ l'utilizzo nei sanitari in porcellana, come specificato nelle istruzioni. Per questi casi, ¨¨ meglio affidarsi a metodi alternativi per evitare danni.
    In conclusione, questo strumento si ¨¨ rivelato un investimento azzeccato.     Arriva in una grande e pesante scatola. Pesa e non poco, d'altronde contiene 15 metri di sonda metallica, ben fatta e piuttosto robusta.

    La logica di funzionamento ¨¨ abbastanza diversa rispetto a quanto mi aspettassi. Pensavo infatti che in buona sostanza si trattasse di un "rocchetto" simile a quello dei tubi per irrigare il giardino, e la manovella servisse per riavvolgere il filo. Invece, il filo si svolge e riavvolge tirandolo fuori o, al contrario spingendolo dentro manualmente. La manovella serve, un volta arrivati all'ostruzione, per, una volta serrata con l'apposita vite, a girare manualmente la sonda e quindi a fare lavorare la testa sull'ostruzione. Una volta serrata la sonda il notevole peso pu¨° aiutare a "martellare" la ostruzione.

    Inutile girarci intorno, una sonda di questo tipo lavora in luoghi oscuri e spesso fetidi. La sacca fornita ¨¨ sicuramente un accessorio gradito ma probabilmente utilizzabile fino al primo utilizzo reale della sonda che dopo l'uso, logicamente va interamente svolta e, necessariamente, lavata con una idropulitrice ed un bel p¨° di sapone.

    Mi ¨¨ capitato in passato di utilizzare sonde di questo tipo, la nostra ¨¨ probabilmente la migliore che mi ¨¨ capitato di vedere e, anche se non economica, si tratta di un oggetto professionale e funzionante.

    Nulla impedisce, logicamente di utilizzarla "alla cieca", naturalmente, tuttavia se accettate un consiglio, va accoppiata ad una sonda con telecamera che vi consentir¨¤ quando la sonda pare sia arrivata all'ostruzione, di verificare visivamente che in effetti sia cos¨¬ e che non si sia invece impuntata su una curva.

    L'utilizzo con trapano presuppone l'opera di due operai (uno regge, a due mani la maniglia del cilindro rotante della sonda e l'altro opera, a due mani, con un trapano di notevole potenza, ed a bassa velocita).

    La conclusione ¨¨ che ho apprezzato molto questo prodotto, robusto e professionale. Utilizzato con un p¨° di spirito pratico, p¨° essere la soluzione al problema ed in questo caso il denaro risparmiato pu¨° essere tanto, parecchie volte pi¨´ del nostro attrezzo che comunque rimarr¨¤ l¨¬ per usi futuri.

    Francamente ne consiglio l'acquisto a professionisti o ad Hobbisti evoluti ed attrezzati del Fai da Te. Per utilizzarla convenientemente ci vuole in effetti un p¨° di attrezzatura e competenza.
    Il costo ¨¨ giustificato dalla qualit¨¤ dell'attrezzo, per me sono graditi, in emergenza, i guanti, ma di norma vanno usati robusti guanti da lavoro, per non farsi male.

    Salato, ma giusto il costo. Per me, cinque stelle.
