This is a great modem with a faulty power cord.
This CBN CH8568 Modem arrived yesterday and I connected it from my upstairs bedroom to the outlet downstairs on the main floor and it kept shutting off. It turned out it was the power cord that was faulty. Re-ordered it from a local supplier and it works perfectly.

    Worked fine for two days, but after that the modem will just shut down randomly. All lights go out on the modem and takes a few tries of unplugging and plugging back in cables. Could be we just got a faulty modem, so we went ahead and purchased/ exchanged for a new one. I will write a new review then, but if it's the case that modem keeps shutting down too then I would strongly suggest not buying it.
