How it works

Step 1-2

Clean the surface thoroughly and flatten protruding edges. Now bring a piece under the damaged spot of the supplied fabric.

Step 2-4

Glue the cotton piece with the surface material. Mix the desired tone and fill the damaged area with the paint repair compound.

Step 3-4

Apply a thin layer of fiber cement on the dried mass. You are pollinating the damage site, until the hole is no longer visible.

FAQ

1. Is this set suitable for bigger damages like torn car seat?

No. This repiar set is for smaller damages like cigarette burns with a Ø of 2-2,5 cm (0.8 - 1 in) as well as abrasions or small cracks.

2. Is the repair permanent?

Yes, it is.

3. What is the grid in the set good for?

The grid is needed to spread the mixed colored over the grid onto the damaged area and is then removed again. The grid itself must not be glued to the seat. The colour must then dry for 1 hour.
