While there truly is so much to love about this kettle, it is sadly not made to last. It is literally my dream kettle: boils fast, the digital temp display and how it changes colours with different temperature ranges.

I bought my second a little over 6 months ago after my initial kettle's lid failed and popped off about a year and a half into using it. Now? No longer working. Won't turn on. Does not react with the base at all. It has been babied, but I use it daily.

At the price point and with it's poor durability, I will not be buying another.

I am from Europe and we're used to fast-boiling kettles there, but hard to get one in the USA. I have been looking for a while and this is the first high-quality 1,750 watts super-fast kettle. Notice that all other kettle that call themselves "fast boiling" are only at 1,500 watts and this is one of the few at 1,750 watts which makes the water boil around 20% faster than the fastest "common" kettles you find in USA. Finally, I feel a little like I'm back home!

Unlike most other kettles, you can set a custom temperature by selecting the temperature button. Simply cycle through the temperature range in 18° increments up to 212 ° F and press power. The LED base color will change six different times depending on the internal temperature. When it reaches your desired temperature, the kettle will beep three times to let you know it is ready. The kettle will automatically shut off unless you have selected the keep warm mode which will maintain a temperature below 212 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours. I highly recommend the Aroma digital kettle for it's many unique features and easy use.
