I have oily to acne prone skin type. I've watched and read a lot of good reviews about this oil cleanser and I was super hyped to try it. I was surprised how strong the "peppermint" smell was even though it's "fragrance free". I tried it for about 2 weeks, and my acne started to come out on every places on my face (cheeks, forehead and chin). It might be suitable for some people who are less sensitive, but I was really disappointed considering this product was for people who are sensitive and has an oily skin type.

    I never write reviews but this was so bad. Let me start by saying I have never had an allergic reaction to a skincare product before and I have used alottt of different products. I used this oil 3 times and have gotten the worst allergic reaction I have probably ever experienced. On day 1 I noticed my eyes and ears were red and swollen and there were little bumps under the inflammation. It got worse for 3 days- the skin becoming drier and itchier each day. I had to use calamine lotion to smooth the itch which only dried out the skin even more. My skin barrier is completely ruined around my eyes and ears.

    I don't know what ingredient I’m allergic to in this but it’s clearly something that’s isn’t often used in skincare products because I am a skincare junky and have tried a wide range of products. After looking into it, I found there were other people that had a similar reaction to mine.

    Pls be cautious and do a patch test!!
