    This is my favourite movie of all times. I had it in VHS format, but wanted to have it in DVD format, so I was thankful to have been able to find it. I realize that the last movie in the series does not follow the author's books, but the storyline is still lovely. Megan Follows is really a Canadian icon and does a beautiful job of portraying Anne. I really can't envision Anne being anyone else. I look forward to watching the first 2 movies with my daughter in the near future and then the final one when she is a little bit older.

    This version of Anne of Green Gables has always been the family favorite but it has been hard to acquire a copy. This version although not amazing quality is fair considering when it was filmed and is probably the best value. I've heard the blu ray version is not much better so considering the price this is the best option.

    Egal, ob man sich an die Serie aus der eigenen Kindheit erinnert oder sie neu entdecken möchte: man sollte dieses Juwel der Serien gesehen haben!

    Zwar "nur" auf Englisch (auch auf Französisch oder Italienisch), aber gerade deswegen so genial!
    Man hört ein perfektes, stilistisch hochwertiges Englisch, dazu die endlich mal passenden Mundbewegungen, damit kann ein Verstehen super gelingen!
    Und Anne (with "e" ;o)) ist eine so herrliche Person, jedes Mädchen kann nur den Wunsch entwickeln, auch einmal in ihren Kleidern durch Avonlea zu streifen :o)

La resa della serie di produzione canadese è perfetta. Perfetta l'ambientazione, perfetta l'aderenza all'opera della Montgomery (tranne che per la terza parte)perfetto il cast. Megan Follows "è" Anne, capace di sorridere con gli occhi e con tutto il suo essere. Peccato per la mancanza di sottotitoli ma il vostro inglese vi ringrazierà.
