As far as I'm concerned, an upgraded interface like this is a must-have for any Quest 3 owner, particularly if you want to share it with others. This was easy to install, and it's a lot softer and more comfortable than the original, and much easier to keep clean. This kit includes two materials to choose from: an "ice silk" material that seems extremely comfortable (albeit not as wipeable) and a silicone/PU material that's also very soft but easy to wipe down between uses. They can be easily swapped (they just velcro onto the facial interface part itself). I like to use my Quest 3 for workouts, and i sweat a lot, so I can see that the original interface would get yucky pretty fast (on the plus side, no one else in the house wanted to use it lol). The PU cover can be quickly cleaned up post-workout with a damp rag. I could probably envision the ice silk one being more suitable for lengthier and more sedentary VR sessions like watching movies or playing games that don't have you moving enough to heat up.
Another nice plus with this unit will be appreciated by those who wear glasses. Like the original facial interface, the depth can be adjusted dynamically. But it's a lot easier to do with this one, using two thumbwheels on the outer surface
All in all, very happy with this so far.
