    I ordered these bulbs for a brand new light fixture as seen in images. I'm unsure if the starburst effect in seeing in the glass globe is because of the lightbulb or the glass.

    Other than that the lights fit perfectly and have been in use off and on for the last 3 weeks. The brightness is in the bright white family so if you want a warmer hue, these are not for you.

    This set of 6 "ALAMPEVER E12 Candelabra Bulb 40 Watts Replacement 5K kelvin bulbs" are well made (and packaged) bulbs that provide a great "daylight" effect while using minimal electricity.

    These LED bulbs also address my pet peeve, which is that they are UL certified, and have all the pertinent bulb information stenciled around the base of each bulb, which is something missing from so many light bulbs in today's marketplace.

    These bulbs appear and feel of good quality, and also feel sturdy while installing them in fixture sockets.

    The 5000 Kelvin light is very "daylight" clarity and bright, even for a 40w bulb replacement. I don't think you'll be disappointed with these bulbs.

    For a matched set of 6 bulbs together, it's a good value. I can easily recommend this set of bulbs for anyone who wants a 40w set of replacements that offer a good value and great lighting, both visually and economically.

    The ALAMPEVER E12 Candelabra Bulbs 40 Watt,B10 Chandelier Light Bulbs,Dimmable 5000k Daylight, are the torpedo shape, which I prefer for this particular chandelier which is somewhat chunky or stout. They do not emit heat but give out a mellow and warm light which is perfect for a dim hallway.
