  • Generally speaking, the cutting thickness and engraving precision are important. A lower wattage provides finer spots for detailed engravings, while a higher wattage provides larger spots to cut through thicker materials.

  • Before engraving, I suggest you blacken them with marker pen / heat transfer tape / acrylic paint. This provides a non-reflective surface for better laser focus and shields from heat, ensuring clear engraving results.

  • After connecting the computer and the laser engraving machine via USB, you can control the machine through computer software such as LaserGRBL or LightBurn or ACMER App. Of course, it is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux systems.

  • The dimensions of the machine are 250×250×162 mm, and its working area is 130×130mm, so it is very portable and convenient. There is no doubt that outdoor engraving can be achieved with just a laptop and a solar generator.

  • Sure, you can replace this existing laser module with any high-power laser module from ACMER. Besides, it is recommended that you purchase an additional rotary roller to engrave cylindrical objects, which is designed to engrave on non-flat surfaces.
