I love this one because a few recognizable names are included in the back of the book. For example, Bob Ross (Artist) and John Lennon (Musician) with a little description for each.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book teaches kids the alphabet and inspires them to appreciate the heroes around them
This colorful hard cardboard pages book teaches kids the alphabet and inspires them to appreciate the heroes around them and tells in two lines what the hero does. For example: "C is foe Community Organizer." The bottom of the page states: "Community organizers inspire groups of people to create positive changes that benefit everyone."
Other examples are D is for Doctor, B is for Best Friend, F is for First Responder. L is for Librarian.

4.0 out of 5 stars Heros for Q & X don’t START with their letters.
ABC for Me: ABC Everyday Heroes Like Me: A celebration of heroes from A to Z! (ABC for Me, 10)
I really liked that this book celebrates the everyday heroes that may not get the recognition they deserve. I also loved that it’s an alphabet book.
My son loved reading the book, looking at the pictures, and pointing out everything he found interesting. My only complaint is that for the letters “Q" and “X" they couldn’t come up with professions that started with those letters so they used professions with those letters in them. So “Q" is "eQual Rights Activist” and “X" is “eXplorer.” I get that both of these are hard letters to figure out professions for, but I’d honestly have preferred something a little less exciting that fits the letter. Like “X" could have been "X-Ray Technician” and “Q" could have been “Quality Control Inspector” or something else that started with these letters.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this review, have a FANTASTIC day!!

I am a preschool teacher so I am reviewing this as a teacher and parent. I love that this book has so much diversity with the illustrations. Its a wonderful to have students and children see themselves in books. This book is engaging. My 4 year old enjoys looking at the pictures and talking about what he sees. As a teacher, I like that I can teach the alphabet in a fun manner.

5.0 out of 5 stars book highlights the positive aspects and importance of each job
I really liked this book and I'm glad I got it for my little one. This book is actually bigger than I had expected. The words are in pretty big font so you won't have to be squinting trying to read this. There are quite a few pages (A-Z). This is a board book but the pages are a thinner type of cardboard, but still great quality. I really like the description of the jobs and how they highlight the positive aspects and importance of each job. I read a few pages to my little one each day as he doesn't understand it yet, however, he does like to look at the colorful illustrations. Very happy with this book and I recommend it.
