Nice to have in its hard case. Checked it against my compressor gauge and a second gauge. 106 psi. Within 2 psi of each other. Used to determine that my grass trimmer engine is shot at 25psi compression. Saves wasting money in a new carburetor. One issue. Threads on the small plug adaptor seem rough. It will not thread in past 1 1/2 turns.

    Has so many options for plug sizes.
    I have used it several times, mostly on small engines like outboards & lawnmowers, & it has worked very well.
    Easy to assemble, easy to use.
    Looks like it will last a good long while.
    If you need an inexpensive compression tester for home shop this will probably do fine.

    This kit is a very useful tool for diagnosing engine problems. It is easy to use and provides accurate results.

    It would be handy to have a one-piece extension for reaching recessed plug openings, but that is a small issue.

    Works well but be sure to loctite those adapters on before you lose one down your plug hole! I got lucky and applied the loctite after I had already got the adapter stuck in the hole, and it did come out. Good kit, but no wrench flats to really tighten the pieces together. Use loctite!

    Pretty decent quality gauge set. My only complaint is that the brass adapters have a knurled edge, rather than a hex. A hex would make it a lot easier to seat the adapter in the spark plug socket. The knurled edge means that, inevitably, you will use a set of grips to tighten the adapter to make a good tight seal, and this will shave off brass into the spark plug socket. Otherwise, this is a great kit at an excellent price.

    To be honest I would buy this product again, the only issue I have with it is the Adaptor design. Unfortunately the fit between the fixed fitting on the hose and the adaptor it’s not tight enough, you can only tighten it down by hand and that O-ring doesn't keep it tight. Sadly I didn’t have the brain power to see if the fixed fitting fit the head of my vehicle before putting the adaptor on, I put on the smallest adaptor, which is the same size as the fixed one on the hose? . Midway through my compression test I got to a cylinder that had a corroded spark plug hole, and I didn’t realize that until I screwed in the adaptor with the hose, after removing the hose I kept on doing the compression test not realizing that the corrosion grabbed a hold of the adaptor and got it stuck in the head, I didn’t realize that the adaptor was stuck in the head, because the fixed fitting was the exact same size on the hose, and then continued to finish my compression test with a weird hissing noise coming from the motor whenever I rolled it over. I then continued to put in spark plugs, and the dam thing threaded right in to the adapter, broke my expensive ass spark plug and then dropped the broken chunks of the spark plug into the cylinder bore.

    Le gauge fonctionne bien mais la hose est devenu lousse dans la fiting du bout donc je n’était plus capable de retirer le tout du troue de bougie. J’ai du couper la hose et utiliser un extracteur pour retirer la fiting de la tête de moteur.
