    The kit came earlier than expected. Immediately on opening, I took a close and critical look at all the components. Everything looked and felt quality, higher quality than I expected especially after reading the negative reviews. I've already used the kit to check out a quad's engine suspected of having low compression (and it did). Always so much better to give the customers actual numbers rather than say to them, "we're pretty sure, but we're just guessing that you have low compression." The spark plug hole was deep in a well, but the kit's attachments made getting the reading quick, easy and repeatable. I think we are going to get a lot of use out of this thing.

    So far so good. Used on several different outboard engines. Guessing the accuracy is correct. Don't have anything to compare to. Seems to be built pretty good, I'm not gentle on tools.

    12/21/2024 Update.

    Just want to update this compressor tester. Have used on a few outboards and UTVs. Still doing what it is supposed to do. Still haven't compared it's readings to another compression tester to see how accurate. But seems pretty close from what I can tell. I'm also needing a leak down tester. So I'm going to get it from same seller just because I've had good luck with this tester.

    Bought this a year ago when I was doing some compression testing on my motorcycle. The kit comes with a good selection of fittings. The hose snaps into the gauge nicely and holds tight. One problem I ran into was that the fittings would unscrew themselves from the hose while in the spark plug hole, so I had to screw on the fittings tight, and then duct tape them on. Also, the gauge just stopped working all together just one year later. The gauge would jump to 90psi in 2 cranks of my motorcycle, and then just stop.

    I'm giving it a 3 star because it worked well for me for some time, but it gave out after only one year. It has good accessories with it for the price, but for just $10 more you can get a gauge that might last you a little longer.

    This product may not be industrial rated but it's pretty nice and seems to work correctly. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and I have loaned it out to several friends who thought I paid a lot more for it than i did. I as well as others believe it ti be very accurate and it comes with the storage case for all the accessories. I think it was a great buy.
