    The gear is an exact match to the original. The bushing is much thinner , you will have to use spacers to make it work. Order the thicker bushing separately and you will be fine. My mower is steering fine now.

    This was a perfect fit for me. Mine wore out the bushing/ bearing and the steering gear started to skip.it comes with a gear which was a plus ,and helps tighten things up. The bearing has been up graded from plastic to bronze another plus my garden tractor is 22 years old so I am pretty sure I won’ t have ever replace it again. Tip being you are bushing a steel shaft in a softer metal bushing I felt it was wise to lubercate the bushing with a never seize to keep it from seizing from rust or what have you.
