This set of 5x8" paper pads from BIPEND provides you with 8 pads, each with 28 pages with a tear off perforated top.

There are 4 really bright coulours and 4 more subdued ones. The lines are well printed and consistent throughout the pads.

The backing of the pads is not thick enough to be rigid on its own. They flop when lifted. If you are not using a table or desk, you will need a clipboard or other hard surface to write on with these.

This is a nice cheerful set of small notepads, but a little underwhelming, because they were described as “legal pads” I was expecting legal size pads (8.5” x 14”), but it should be noted, that the description does contain the actual dimensions of 5x8, so that would be my fault.

Some of the pads are nice saturated colours (the green, pink and blue) while the others are a bit lighter, some pastel colours, they can all be used in different ways.

My complaint would be the quality of the paper and thickness of the pads, the paper is very thin and the pads themselves have a very small amount of pages.

Considering the quality and the actual amount and size of the pads, these are probably best for to-do lists or doodle pads, I would say they don’t quite match the price point of ~$14 (at time of review)

The quality of these paper pads is very good. Each pad comes in its own color and writing on them is smooth whether using pen, pencil or marker. Each pad is very lightweight and each piece of paper is fairly thin.

Please note that while these are described as legal pads they are not actually legal sized.

The BIPEND 5x8 inch colorful paper pads are a bit pricey but not unreasonably so.

These notepads are so adorable, I almost feel bad using them up. I love the colors - the range of colors is really nice, and they are bright and cheerful. The different colors also have a functional purpose: they let me color coordinate them by different topic.

The size is perfect too, small enough that I can slip them into my purse or even my pocket, but still big enough to be useful for all sorts of note-taking.

The paper quality is really nice too, not too thick but just thick enough to not rip willy-nilly. Regular pens don't bleed through at all. And the perforation at the top is great, letting me tear off a page without leaving a mess behind.

I have a feeling I'll be getting more of these once the ones I have start running down.
