Though lighter than most commercial-grade vinyl hoses, this hose can stand up to tough conditions, owing to its leak-proof and puncture-resistant construction. Its compact size makes it a breeze to transport and store. Dimensions: 0.625 diam. in. x 50L ft.. Made from vinyl and aluminum. 50% lighter than commercial vinyl hose.     Bought this to replace another brand hose as it was extremely non-flexible. My backyard has a lot of shade and most traditional hoses need some heat to be soft and flexible. Add on the cool Canadian springs and fall seasons and it was extremely frustrating, especially trying to reel and hang during those months. I already owned a Zero-G hose that I used at the front of the house in the garage and was extremely happy with it, so bought another for the backyard.

    If you want something extremely lightweight and flexible, this hose checks those boxes. It has a tough nylon sheathing but I would not rely on dragging it over rough edges repeatedly. If you have rough stones and like to drag your hose care free, then stick with traditional rubber or synthetic. I have driven over this hose with my car a few times, so it has some durability.

    This hose does kink, especially when pooled in an area. If you keep it pulled straight you shouldn't have issues, but if you start backtracking over your steps while watering, you will experience periodic kinks. Not to the point where water stops flowing, but you will notice pressure drops. A quick shake of the hose will correct it with ease, if that annoys you, then look at other brands. Also noticed kinks are more prevalent when you don't open the tap all the way. Under lower pressures it kinks with more frequency.

    Reeling this hose in and hanging is super easy. When the water is turned off, the hose deflates and goes flat. You can bend it at any point with ease which makes hanging it super easy. No need to worry if its twisted and the hose fighting with you to make tight circles.

    Pros:
    - Lightweight and super flexible
    - Easy to manuever and hang

    Cons:
    - May kink from time to time

    I had a 50' Zero-G hose for 7 years until last year, worn out, it finally sprang leaks. Fantastic hose, easy to use. I bought another 100-ft one three years ago, for about $100, and once again no problems. Love it. Last year I bought another 50-ft hose to replace the old one. It was shipped defective - there was a leak right where the hose connected to the coupling. I returned it and got my money back. But this year, to replace that one, I bought another 50-ft Zero-G on 鶹 in April for $75 and now, in mid-July, it sprang a leak about two feet from the coupling. I won't be buying another Zero-G.

    The popular black woven fabric garden hoses tend to last about 2 or 3 years before they rot and begin leaking. After reading a few hose comparative tests and reviews, I discovered that this hose rated higher than most woven and rubber composite hoses. The lighter grey colour makes it less likely to rot than the black woven ones. It's woven fabric also appears to be more durable. It is kink-free, too. So far, we are really pleased with this purchase.
