I receive a 399 gram pressurized spray can of adhesive. This adhesive can be used to stick light weight materials together, including paper, cardboard, fabric, and others. From reading the description of this product, it seems to resemble contact cement that I purchase as a thick liquid and apply with a brush or stick. This adhesive was supplied in a spray can, which is great when the article you will be applying it to is quite large, but is less convenient with smaller items, as over spray becomes more of an issue. I tested the adhesive outdoors, as it has a chemical smell that is similar to other adhesives of this type, and I also didn’t want to worry about over spray. I applied it to a piece of wood and some cardboard. Application of the adhesive went well, and was similar to other spray products. I let it dry for about 1 minute, as instructed by the directions on the spray can. I then pressed the two items together. They immediately stuck together. The bond between the wood and cardboard seemed reasonably strong and I was pleased with it. As I suspected, any region on the two items that received some over spray and that were not part of the bond, remained somewhat sticky. This might be a consideration in some usage contexts, but might be irrelevant in others. I cleaned the spray nozzle with acetone after use, to ensure it would be usable at a future date. Overall, a decent spray adhesive, and particularly useful for large objects.

This adhesive is strong and seems to dry pretty fast. Works great for wood. I just spray, let is dry down a bit, then stick the pieces together. I didn't need to hold the pieces together for more than a minute before it wasn't easy to slide the pieces apart anymore.

I wouldn't use this for any fine woodworking though because the spray comes out and covers a wide area. It will be hard and messy trying to control the amount and spread for smaller pieces.

I recently picked up the 3M Super 77 Multi-Surface Spray Adhesive, and I’ve been really impressed with how well it performs. I used it for a mix of repair projects around the house, attaching foam to wood, fixing a torn piece of fabric, bonding cardboard for a school project, and even sticking some lightweight plastic parts together. In every case, the adhesive worked fast and held firm.

The spray comes out in a fine, even mist that covers surfaces smoothly. It doesn’t leave behind globs or uneven spots, which helps create a clean looking finish. The spray application is easy to use and great for covering larger areas quickly. However, I did notice that it’s easy to overspray when working with smaller items, so it helps to use a mask to protect surrounding surfaces.

This adhesive works especially well with lightweight materials like foam, paper, fabric, and cardboard. It creates a strong bond without adding extra weight or bulk. It also dries within a couple of minutes and becomes clear. What stood out to me most is how strong and reliable the bond is, everything I’ve glued with it has stayed in place with no peeling or lifting. Used this to plump up my couch with new foam cushions and it worked beautifully. It is easy to use and very effective. You spray, wait for it to get tacky, and stick. That's basically it. It is particularly effective on porous surfaces like upholstery foam where it manages to bond the surfaces together despite the uneven texture.

It is aerosolized so you do need to use it in a well ventilated area or with a ventilator mask on to protect your lungs, but it delivers heavy duty function with the heavy duty application. It sprays evenly and is easy to cover a large area very quickly. It didn't drip or pool, just went on in an even layer and adhered the two layers together exactly as I wanted. The spray is large and wide, so you probably also want to wear gloves when applying as it isn't designed for precision use, but nothing else seems to stick like this. Definitely recommend.

I used this spray on glue to repair a sagging headliner in our car and it did the job great. I have actually used a different spray-on glue before that I had purchased from the dollar store - that glue failed quickly, this one has been holding for almost two months in cold, hot, and wet weather.

Spray glue is very versatile as it can be used on arts & crafts projects, home repairs, auto repairs, fabric repairs, and even attaching things to a wall.

The good news here is that 3M makes a great product that may be a bit more expensive than cheaper options - but it works way better than the others and is worth the investment.
