Our products have set the standard for marine excellence for more than 50 years, and they now include a new generation of advanced polyurethane and silane-modified polymers (SMPs) that further expand their range and effectiveness.

3M Marine Adhesive Sealants are specifically designed for the rigors of the marine environment, bonding or sealing everything from wood, metal and glass to gelcoat and most plastics—including fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP). Boaters have no better friend on the water.

Product description

3M marine adhesive sealant 5200 white. The adhesive sealant is extremely strong, retains its strength above or below water line. Stays flexible too - allows for structural movement. Has excellent resistance to weathering and salt water. Stress caused by shock, vibration, swelling or shrinking is effectively absorbed. Check the bonding and sealing jobs this product can handle for you: fiberglass deck to fiberglass hull, wood to fiberglass, portholes and deck fittings, motors on fiberglass transoms, under mouldings, hull seams above and below water line. Center board trunk joints. Between struts and planking. Stern joints. Deck housing, etc. Easy to apply with manual caulking gun. Remains workable with trowel or spatula up to four hours after application. Won't sag or flow in vertical or horizontal seams. Tough/flexible polyurethane polymer. Non-shrinking. One-part moisture cure. Long working time. Application method: hand or pressure caulk. Brand: 3M. Capabilities: sustainability. Consistency: medium paste. Container volume: 0.1 gallon (US). Cure rate: less than 1 mm/24 hr. Elongation: greater than 800 percent. Hardness: 68 shore A. Industry - use: construction, general industrial, marine, specialty vehicle, transportation.
