They work as expected when I'm dealing with chemicals or substances that emit VOCs, nothing more, can't smell a thing which is how its supposed to be. I've noticed there is a misunderstanding with these cartridges and I'd like to point it out; THEY DO NOT FILTER OUT COVID. Viruses are particulates not a gas or vapor, which means you need something that filters particles such as your ordinary N95 masks or filters that everybody else is using. These cartridges are not meant to filter viruses, they filter vapors. Unless you work with chemicals that require the use of these, don't buy them. You're taking away from the people that actually need them. There is a reviewer here who states he buys them to protect against COVID19, I beg you please do not follow his advice, it is so wrong, incorrect, and just misleading.

    I work with highly toxic vapors. The activated charcoal filters, filter out these vapors. Very comfortable to breath through. In fact, the breathing is so easy and non-restrictive that I use it instead of my it N95 paper mask.
