    Thought I would safe myself a few dollars on my solar build (as it is already $$$$), and use a set of ferrel wire crimps, as they seemed to mostly do the job. Having to re do a handful of MC4 connections, while moving panels and their access to the bus, I decided to get a set. As my father engrained into me as a young adult, I decided to get the good tool, instead of the cheaper in the pile…

    I am NOT disappointed. I have many other Klein tools in my pouch / tool box, so I got what I expected. Good solid crimps!! The bonus was that the crimps were strong and tight enough, that I am able to remove the plastic house if needed, without damaging or removing the inner pin.

    Spend the money on hood tool. Stay away from Temu. You will NOT regret it.

    Made in china version of the burndy crimper. All you really need are the dies if you have this style crimper aleady and dont need to be switching between termials and mc4's often. Otherwise seems ok quality has fancier rubber grips but i prefer the OG burndy, sightly dissapointing klein is becoming just a name put on chinese made tools.
