    I don't normally do these but I was worried about this switch not working but it did. Now I don't need to get a different tv just to get 2.1 hdmi for all ports! But I might either way lol current tv is the Sony X90l 55".

    The switch works perfectly as long as you use 8k (48gbps) cables for both connected devices (in my case, pc and ps5). And for the output back to the tv itself. Do not use 4k cables lol.

    It's only been a few hours though but I'll update this if necessary.

    After trying 5 (!) other 2-port HDMI switches, this is the only one that works with my specific setup (one input is ~3 meters of cable running from my computer, through the wall via keystone plugs, and into the switch). I think this switch might also act as a signal repeater/booster since it only fully works when it has power supplied through the USB port.

    I personally ended up disabling the auto-switch feature – it definitely works properly and I can see how it could be useful, but in my specific situation it was switching when I didn't necessarily want it to (e.g. it would switch after I restarted my computer, but I don't usually want that to happen since I'm not in front of the TV when doing that). I'm very happy it's possible to turn that feature on and off easily.

    Does what it says 99% of the time. I wanted to hook up a PS5 and Series X to one hdmi 2.1 port on my Samsung TV.

    I had some initial problems as the PS5 was saying no VRR etc. This was resolved by unplugging the PS5 HDMI and plugging it back in to the switcher.

    Holding down the switcher button for a couple of seconds makes the green light flash and puts it in auto switch mode. It switches between the Xbox and PS5 automatically without any trouble. It adds maybe a 2 second delay to the device being ready if it has to switch.

    I've used it for about 50 hours now. In that time I've had 2 problems. Once it switched on it's own for no reason and once I lost sound. Both issues quickly fixed by switching manually.

    Overall really great product for the price.
